ARE ISAIAH'S MESSIANIC PROPHECIES ABOUT CHRIST AUTHENTIC PROPHECIES?

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities . . .  – Isaiah 53:5

S ince young Bedouin shepherds stumbled on the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1947, the discovery of these ancient manuscripts – mostly on parchment, but some on papyrus – hidden in jars of clay, has been heralded as the most significant archeological find ever. Consisting of over 950 manuscripts, they were found in 11 caves peppering the ruins of Khirbet Qumran, an ancient settlement on the northwest shore of the Dead Sea  in the West Bank. Now, a major part of the collection is stored in the Israel Museum’s Shrine of the Book. Considered of great religious and historical significance, the texts dating back to roughly 150 BC are the oldest-known surviving copies of Biblical and extra-biblical documents predating the oldest ones before the discovery by a thousand years.

However, through the wonderful efforts of the Azusa Pacific University (APU) a Christian University in Southern California, locals were treated this summer to a rare, firsthand view of the scrolls at the school's recent Exhibit called Treasures of the Bible: The Dead Sea Scrolls and Beyond!  Less than a year earlier, APU had acquired 5 scroll fragments that the University made available for exhibition along with other biblical artifacts starting from May till August 29. The cost of the purchase has not been disclosed, but it was revealed that four of the fragments were obtained from a rare manuscripts dealer in Venice, CA, and the fifth fragment from nonprofit Christian ministry in Phoenix, Arizona. The fragments contain passages from Exodus, Leviticus, Deuteronomy, and Daniel revealing among other things—like the rest of the Dead Sea Scrolls manuscripts—the remarkable textual faithfulness and purity of the Bible today which has remained virtually unchanged for more-than 2,100 years.

In addition, the Dead Sea Scrolls not only includes almost the entire Old Testament except for Esther, but also the complete 66 Books of Isaiah, at least 100 years BC (Before Christ!), before the prophet's startling messianic prophecies about the Christ!  The video below explains the implications of the Isaiah texts.
