For immediate press release: November 29, 2007FilAm EXPO 2008 at Golden Hall April 26The One Vision One Voice Filipino American Movement (OVOV) proudly invites the San Diego community to a FilAm Trade and Cultural Expo to be held on April 26, 2008, Saturday, at the San Diego Concourse Golden Hall, from 10 AM to 7 PM. The EXPO is free and open to the public. This event will celebrate "The Heart of a Community", showcasing the businesses, assets, talents, traditions and culture of the Filipino community of San Diego and all collaborative organizations and businesses. Mimi Estrada, Chair of the 2008 EXPO, calls the community to action, "We are excited to once again bring to San Diego this wonderful event. Last year drew over 3,000 people. BoothsAny FilAm organization can have a booth free provided they do not sell goods. Vendors, those selling any type of goods or services, will be charged a fee of $225. Nonprofit organizations that are non-Filipino will be charged a $125 fee. For vendor booth information contact Joseph Roley Arzaga at Joseph@filamexpo.com. Sponsorship levelsCorporate sponsors, businesses and individuals are encouraged to become sponsors at the following levels: Platinum-$10,000; Gold-$5,000; Silver-$2500; Bronze-$1,000 and Donor-$500. WorkshopsWorkshops will be held all throughout the day. Topics include: business, legal, health, culture, youth.
