Two friends, John and Jack, went camping.

One early morning, they woke up to a loud scrapping noise just outside of their tent.  Curious to find out what was all the noise about, they came out to look. They saw a big black bear. Upon seeing the bear, the two friends quickly retreated into their tent.

John immediately grabbed his shoes and put them on.

"What are you doing?" Jack asked, "You can't outrun a bear!"

"That's true," said John, "But I can outrun you!"
