The MabuhayRadio.com was invited by the Philippine Consulate General (PCG) to participate in a “Pulong Bayan” with former President Fidel V. Ramos in a town-hall style forum in Los Angeles, California. The forum and a press conference with President Ramos will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2007, at the PCG’s Rizal Hall. The consulate is located at 3600 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 500, Los Angeles, CA 90010. The event starts at 4:00 p.m.

Bobby Reyes, the editor of MabuhayRadio, and Allan Albert, its webmaster, will do their best of asking Mr. Ramos his answers to a set of questions that they will provide in advance through the PCG.

Former President Ramos has been mentioned prominently in the “Reinventing the Philippine Military” and “Reinventing the Filipino Psyche” series currently being published in this online publication. For instance, will Mr. Ramos confirm or deny the supposed new coup being planned by some sectors in the Philippine military, as discussed in this site?

The MabuhayRadio will provide Mr. Ramos with printed copies of the various articles where he is mentioned.

Bobby Reyes will also ask Mr. Ramos his much-awaited reply to his 2006 letter to him about his (Reyes’) proposal of turning the EDSA into an “Economic Development and Social-Advancement” Movement. President Ramos did not bother to reply to Mr. Reyes’ letter that was coursed also through the PCH during the former President’s earlier visit to Los Angeles. (The letter will be reproduced in its entirety in this web site.)

Readers who want to ask Mr. Ramos a question may e-mail the query or queries to the MabuhayRadio at mediabcla@aol.com. Or they may send the questions through the PCG at losangelespc@aol.com, attention to Mr. Ramos. The queries that Mr. Ramos will answer and his reply will be published also in the Forum Section of this web site. # # #
