T he 28th day of December is observed as the “Niños Inocentes” (the Holy Innocent-Martyrs) feast day by the Roman Catholic Church (RCC). In the Philippines, however, many Filipinos – Catholics or not – celebrate it as their Second April Fool’s Day.

This writer told of this December 28th Filipino version of April Fool’s Day in this article,

A Belated April Fool’s Day Article About Its History

The RCC always marks December 28th as a feast day, as illustrated in this Daily B.R.E.A.D. article posted by our columnist, Bobot Apit, Dec 28, 2009 - “Niños Inocentes” (The Holy Innocent-Martyrs) Feast Day

Aside from the really-satirical and funny stories that we published (and our predecessor Yimby.com published and reprinted in this website) on April First, we have so far more-than 130 articles and counting that can be found in this section,
