CHRISTMAS  MESSAGE

In announcing the birth of our Lord Jesus, a heavenly host of angels chorused to shepherds watching their flock at night, “Glory to God in the Highest, and on earth peace to men of good will.”

In our celebration of Christmas, we should heed the message of the angels.  We should give thanks to God that he sent his only begotten son to save us from our sins and establish a reign of peace on earth.

With commercialism blanketing its practices, the meaning of Christmas is getting blurred as the divine message takes a back seat, peace on earth remains a dream.

And the poor for whom Christ had so much compassion are forgotten.

Still, I wish everybody a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR.
