Part Two of a Series This writer is not the only one who said that there are members of the National Alliance for Veterans' Equity (NAFVE) who are actually of dubious character. As I reported, these "poseurs, interlopers, pretenders and clowns" have turned the FilVets Lobby into a milking cow and/or have used the NAFVE as an instrument to advance their own personal and selfish agenda. Here are the fighting words of Col. Frank Quesada (Ret.), who is based in Las Vegas. Some other comments from Colonel Quesada are posted also in the www.mabuhayradio.com: In a message dated 6/25/2007 9:14:56 PM Pacific Daylight Time, fbquesada@net writes: Dear Bobby, yes you can, but please correct the typos for me. I still am having difficulty with my keyboard. Did you get my prior posting re: brief history of FAPA, Naffaa and the Alliance? And the District Court opinion on FAPA re: its "locus standi." Tks. Frank. ----- Original Message ----- From: MEDIABCLA@aol.com To: fbquesada@ Sent: Monday, June 25, 2007 8:44 PM Subject: Re: NaFFAA Public Service - Time For Redemption Dear Colonel Quesada: Can we please publish your comments? We have to put a stop to these clowns. Mabuhay, Bobby M. Reyes In a message dated 6/25/2007 8:33:14 PM Pacific Daylight Time, fbquesada@ writes:JJ and Romy, What is this clown (Melegrito) talking about? Is it another joke? Representatives Filner, Honda and Issa, and Senators Akaka and Inouye have distanced themselves from these clowns knowing the truth about them, including Furbeyre alias Lachica, who has been banned by the Dept. of Justice from interfering with veteran's affairs here and in the Philippines. These pretenders never really comprehended the true message of Filner during the summit that Filner will be working only with Romy Monteyro, as his dancing partner -- in order to isolate these clowns from us, (the technical working group of Lou Tancinco, Romy Monteyro and myself) and our legislator bipartisan supporters. Not one of them have the savvy in veterans' affairs and legislative process. They cannot even write or draft a bill, or write an amendment to a bill, yet talk of success or redemption (which aptly means an act of being freed of paying a ransom defined in the dictionary). Nothing can change the fact that the Alliance do not have "locus standi" (legal standing) in veterans' affairs and/or the veterans' official lobby. Therefore, they are looking from the outside, forever trying to crash into our turf, destitute of know-how, just praising themselves in their own press releases, spoon-fed to the gullible media that allow themselves as a willing idiots to these bums. # The truth is that the NaFFAA and its clowns in the NAFVE, do not know what they are doing in veterans' affairs -- except in their expertise of asking for donations and not accounting for the moneys received from the public. Melegrito, Diaz, Lachica, Rodis, et al, should really keep their mouths shut and perhaps move on to Iraq. Need I say more? At least my position has merited the moral imprimatur of and from Colonel Quesada and Company. Another Filipino-American community leader from San Francisco, CA, the venerable Jay Caedo, has these words to say about a member of the NAFVE Steering Committee of which he has been boasting that he is its co-chair: In a message dated 6/29/2007 11:11:16 AM Pacific Daylight Time, Jay Caedo writes (as posted in several Filipino-American forums at yahoogroups): QUOTE: Dear Mr. Musico:
