Part Two of a Series

This writer is not the only one who said that there are members of the National Alliance for Veterans' Equity (NAFVE) who are actually of dubious character. As I reported, these "poseurs, interlopers, pretenders and clowns" have turned the FilVets Lobby into a milking cow and/or have used the NAFVE as an instrument to advance their own personal and selfish agenda.

Here are the fighting words of Col. Frank Quesada (Ret.), who is based in Las Vegas. Some other comments from Colonel Quesada are posted also in the www.mabuhayradio.com:

Nothing can change the fact that the Alliance do not have "locus standi" (legal standing) in veterans' affairs and/or the veterans' official lobby. Therefore, they are looking from the outside, forever trying to crash into our turf, destitute of know-how, just praising themselves in their own press releases, spoon-fed to the gullible media that allow themselves as a willing idiots to these bums. #

The truth is that the NaFFAA and its clowns in the NAFVE, do not know what they are doing in veterans' affairs -- except in their expertise of asking for donations and not accounting for the moneys received from the public. Melegrito, Diaz, Lachica, Rodis, et al, should really keep their mouths shut and perhaps move on to Iraq.

Need I say more? At least my position has merited the moral imprimatur of and from Colonel Quesada and Company.

Another Filipino-American community leader from San Francisco, CA, the venerable Jay Caedo, has these words to say about a member of the NAFVE Steering Committee of which he has been boasting that he is its co-chair:

It is just so sad that poseurs and interlopers, to use Colonel Quesada words have gone and presented themselves to the RP Embassy as the official community advocates in this connection. I am not referring to NAFFAA as an organization, but certain individuals.

Some people reported to me that one of those "poseurs" actually just accidentally met the San Francisco veterans' organization leaders because they happened to be together at an event for the Governor. Since the Governor was a no-show, the organizer asked that person to just meet and talk with the veterans present and asked about the FilVets' Bill issues. Presto! Instant community advocate! And he took that to the RP Embassy as his credentials. The vets over here never heard of him, nor ever seen him before. (MabuhayRadio Editor's Note: Actually the person Jay is referring to is none other than Perry Diaz, the Perrytale writer, as confirmed by a distinguished Filipino-American Republican leader in San Francisco, CA.)

Well, in the end, those who know the truth appreciate each other more.
