This is the season to refresh ourselves, to think and feel young again. "Christmas, in its final essence, is for grown people who have forgotten what children know.” (Margaret Cousins). “There’s nothing sadder in this world than to awake at Christmas morning and not be a child.” (Erma Bombeck).

The Christian world someday will adopt many of the traditions found in the 21-day Filipino Christmas celebration. When this happens, it is actually a gift from the Iberians, the Spanish friars and Pope Sixtus V, the British, the Germans, the Americans and other peoples that contributed to the making of the Filipino heritage. How Filipinos Reinvented Christmas

B ut how can we be children again in this stressful world? Tune in or watch the multi-media broadcast program, Kalikasan, Kaunlaran! (KK!), on Dec. 9, 2009, Wednesday, 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (Manila time), and learn how to be children again from two men whose passion is to make both the young ones and the young once all feel young again by experiencing and interacting with some of the bests (e.g., the heart of the Amazon) and the beasts (e.g., tigers) that nature offers. Mario Mamon, chairman and president, Enchanted Kingdom, Inc., and Robert Yupangco, president, Yupangco Holdings Corporation (covering Paradizoo, Zoobic, and Zoocobia) will talk about the enchanted, happiest places in the Philippines. Dr. Cora Claudio, president, EARTH Institute Asia, Inc., will moderate the discussion in Filipino and English.
