It will feature human-interest stories about the people of Cebu and the Cebuano-speaking Filipinos in the Philippines, especially in the Visayas and Mindanao. It will also contain articles about the coming 500th anniversary of the voyage of a Spanish expedition led by Fernando de Magallanes (Ferdinand Magellan) that began in Seville, Spain, in September 1519 that resulted in the death of Magellan in April 1521 in Cebu.
